  • Russia will cancel a tax on imports of soybean meal for three months in an effort to curb prices of feedstuffs and meat products.

The decision was made at a meeting of a subcommission on customs regulation and foreign trade protection led by First Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov, the government said today on its website. The change must be approved by the commission that oversees Russia’s customs union with Belarus and Kazakhstan to become law.
